The southern tropics were becoming a more and more appealing location for Moire as the majin basked in all of the sunlight present throughout. Though it can get quite a bit too toasty for the majin sometimes, there's always a gentle breeze blowing through to help her cool off, not to mention all of the trees lining the islands that she can use as shade from the rays above. The sand beneath her feet felt exceptionally thin, however, as with each step it felt like she was sinking just a bit deeper, and as such she's stuck to the dirt path nearby the beach. Still, it gives her a nice little opportunity to lean against one of the trees so she can look out, gaze upon the vast ocean in front of her, see all of the animals look around for food potentially left behind by tourists long gone, and... Is that a ship?
Moire's attention was immediately grabbed by the presence of a small cargo ship, sitting on the beach and looking as if it's been abandoned for decades at the bottom of the ocean. The ship had rusted significantly over the course of years, yet it still dripped with water as if it had returned to the surface recently. There were plenty of holes dotting the hull of the ship, and there were even huge chunks of metal missing from the body entirely. It looked like it's been long abandoned, but it feels so recent. Moire takes a look to her left and right to see if anybody else was looking at what she was looking at, but it seems like the majin was all on her own here in the area. She didn't mind, though, as it gave her an idea for what she's going to do this afternoon.
Moire backs away from the dirt path and immediately walks on the beach towards the vessel, the eyes of the majin darting all around the ship and taking in the sight of this one great manmade creation reduced to nothing but a shell of its former self. She was especially curious about the history of this hunk of metal, but unfortunately there wasn't really anybody around to tell her about it. Maybe there was a slim chance that journals were still around and legible, though the chance of them being intact weren't exactly very promising. The majin shakes those thoughts out of her head as she has to focus on how exactly she was going to get inside, though a certain large hole in the hull should answer that question for her...
The majin steps through the hole and into the darkness, the air feeling far more damp inside and the ambient sound of the seagulls and the ocean were dampened... Actually, they weren't present anymore. Moire raises a brow in confusion, and she sticks her head out of the ship. Sure enough she could hear them perfectly fine. Moire pulls her head back in, and the sound immediately vanishes once again. The majin knew that something was very off about this whole ordeal, but this has only spiked her curiosity instead of deterring her from what lies within. Perhaps she can truly find something of valuable inside.
She continues her way into the shipi, moving through another hole in the hull in order to enter what seems to be a hallway, rooms dotting each side, all swung open. Moire peaks inside each one, noting that they all appeared to be bedrooms, likely for crewmates, but she also notes the fact that she hasn't seen any bodies. The majin anticipated seeing at least a skeleton by now, but maybe perhaps everyone made it off of the ship in the nick of time. At least, that's what she was thinking until a faint whisper sends shivers down her spine, immediately making her turn around to face one end of the hallway, heading to the back of the ship. Her eyes sharpen as she moves her hand up and produces a single ball of purple ki, both acting as a light source and as way to defend herself in the event that something pops out in front of her.
Moire continues making her way towards the back of the ship, reaching a door with a single sign up on top: Captain's Quarters. The door, unlike the other bedrooms, was slightly ajar instead of being wide open, only making it more ominous. Moire slowly reaches forward, pressing her hand right against the surprisingly cold metal door as she pushes it open, a loud creaking sound echoing throughout the entire vessel. There was an unnatural darkness inside, and even the light from Moire's ki ball wasn't enough to light up the room. Slowly the majin takes a step inside, but once she was completely inside, the door immediately shuts right behind her, a locking sound very audible, signifying how Moire was now trapped.
The majin turns to face the door as something begins to glow inside of the room, illuminating the dark corners of the quarters. Her eyes gaze upon what appears to be the glowing visage of a human, dressed up in old, fancy clothing, paired with a pirate captain's hat and a long beard. The manifestation approaches Moire, reaching forward to her while raising a spectral sword, ready to strike down whoever has trespassed in his domain. Unfortunately for the ghost, he had selected Moire as his next target.
Immediately Moire flings the ki ball at the specter, plowing a hole right through his ghostly body as it passes through and impacts the wall behind. The metal walls immediately blast open, and sunlight from outside pours in, immediately forcing the ghost to flee and disappear in a cloud of silvery smoke. That was... a bit anticlimactic, but perhaps it was a good thing that Moire was the one there instead of a civilian. Who knows what would've happened then. Now that the quarters were all lit up, Moire takes a gander at all of the strewn about gold and silver jewelry. She had little need for the stuff herself as she could conjure it up herself, but people would certainly appreciate having the real thing instead of a fake. As such, the majin grabs a handful of the treasure within before hopping out of the ship, her feet landing right on the sandy beach below. Moire pushes herself off of the sand below, and flies up into the air, jewelry in tow as she figures out just what she's going to do with this, or who to even give this to.
